Carolyn P. McDougal
Mrs. McDougal has served on Harnett County's City Council of Dunn, NC for 8 years. She is honored for her outstanding service and leadership as a Civil Rights Activist in North Carolina and as a Lifetime member of the NAACP in which she presently serves on the Executive Board as the Second Vice President for the State of North Carolina for 25 years. She currently hold the position of First Vice President in NAACP for the State of North Carolina.
She occupies seats on various boards, such as Community Development Board of the City of Dunn, NC. She has been recognized and presented with awards such as: NAACP Woman of the Year, the Humanitarian Award, Minority Business Women's Award, Government Jim Hunt Appreciation Award, and Harnett County Governor's One-on-One Volunteer Award. She is consistent in her stance of dedication and commitment for her community and state.

Amiyah Witherspoon
Amiyah Witherspoon is a native of Durham North Carolina and is currently an Honors Biology student at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Ms. Witherspoon is pursuing her degree to become a Pediatrician.
Ms. Witherspoon is honored to be the Vice President of Second Chance CDC and to continue a legacy of the Founder & CEO.

Victoria McClain
Victoria McClain is an accountant and bookkeeper specializing in non profit accounting and individual taxation. She started her accounting career working in her mother’s accounting firm, Kathy’s Accounting Services, in Stockbridge, GA. She has been formally educated in accounting and taxation at Clayton State University in Morrow, GA.

Dr. Tammy Smith
Dr. Tammy Smith is a native of Nyack, New York and the CEO and President of the Non-profit, Inspired Now Networks, Inc., a health awareness and educative program and research facility that practice using community-based models to help redefine health care delivery in settings of poverty within the marginalized communities.
Tammy holds a Masters in Public Health and a Post-Masters Certification in Epidemiology. She also holds a Doctorate in Public Health degree and is a Certified Health Education Specialist. She has graduated from Meredith College in Raleigh, NC with a Bachelors Degree in Biology and has continued her Graduate and Professional studies at Capella University. Tammy was inducted into The National Society of Leadership and Success in recognition of excellence in academic accomplishments.
Dr. Smith is an Epidemiologist with the CDC Foundation supporting the Bureau of Laboratory Science at the Massachusetts Department of
Public Health.
Treasurer
Gerald D. Givens, Jr.
Gerald D. Givens, Jr. is the President of Raleigh-Apex National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) covering Apex, Cary,
Fuquay-Varina, Garner, Holly Springs, Morrisville, and Raleigh; consisting of about 900,000 residents. He is also the Treasurer of the NC NAACP State Conference of Branches and serves as Chair of the Finance Committee. Mr. Givens is the Chair of the Wake County Community Remembrance Project. He serves on the North Carolinians Against Gun Violence, North Carolina Transit Workers, and Activate Good board of directors. He is the Secretary of the Rotary Club of All Nations and also serves as the Treasurer of the newly formed RISE North Carolina Small Business Owners.
Mr. Givens is a United States Air Force veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, retired with 20
years of honorable service as a Protocol Officer in the Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and
Reconnaissance (ISR) Agency, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas.
